The Camino de Santiago is the best known route; however there are other routes that transport pilgrims on a spiritual journey.

One of those routes is the Ignaciano Way that ends in Catalonia. This itinerary seeks to recreate the path that the knight Ignacio de Loyola traveled in 1522 from his birthplace in Loyola, a tower-palace in Azpeitia (País Vasco), to what is known as the San Ignacio Cave in Manresa city, near the Monasterio de Montserrat (Catalonia).

The Ignatiano Way is made up of 27 stages throughout the País Vasco, La Rioja, Navarra, Aragon and Catalonia, 650 kilometers that pilgrims use not only to get in shape, but also to exercise their spirit.
